Pete, My Pete

A few years back when me and the mister were newly hitched, we had a great Valentine's Day by throwing a Beatnik Poetry Night with all of our Bronx friends. In honor of Pete and our third Valentine's Day as husband and wife - here is one of the poems I wrote for him on that day of poetry so long ago:

I think that when I am old
I shall sit beside you and tell you things
you may have heard before
But you'll smile slyly and tell me an old joke
again too just to prove we're happy just being together.
I think that I shall like being old with you

Pete, for all the love you've given me, I thank you. Happy Valentine's Day this year and for always.

I Looked Out The Window And What Did I See?

Hola amigos! Look at my snowflake collection - pretty impressive, huh? When Daddy takes me to play in my snow, crazy things happen . . . this one worries me.Daddy says it's safe though. And, I always trust my Daddy. He also informed me that we had lots of fun. I will ponder the snow occurances and let you know if they were fun when my analysis is complete (and my fingers have thawed). For anyone reading this, have you seen my mittens?
Or my pants?Mommy taought me and Daddy how to clean the other day. I taught Mommy to look at me with my "aren't I adorable with my binky/blankie" pose.
Here's my real smile - I like to do a cheesy smile most of the time.
And, here's my castle.
And here's my court jester (and baby sibling).
