The Summer According to Mynacita

Well, Mommy said she's tired, and Daddy was too asleep to ask him if he wanted to update the blog, so we decided to take control of this life documentation stuff. I have a lot to say about the past few months - Milo mostly just says "tractor." (But he does say it oh so cutely)

First, especially for you, I choreographed a dance expressing the joy of this summer.
See if you can guess what summertime experiences inspired the sequence of movements.
This represents the bunnies stalking the only vegetable in our little garden. Our tomatoes.
This is the bunnies laughing heartily as they pick them off our plants.
This is the bunnies' leap of joy and victory back into the forest.
This in the prideful swagger which they now sport around our yard
And, this is me being happy that we have such fat and happy bunnies to watch now.

My said I needed to report on some our summer activities and adventures, so here it goes:

Pioneer day. Daddy played the fiddle, and Mommy made people dance. Milo and I devoured a box of cheese-its in the shade. Great day of remembering the pioneers.
So, I have this cute little brother who kind-of has a little crush on this cutie. Milo claims this was a date. He also claims that he wasn't making googly eyes at her when he fell right off the bench they were sharing . . .
Mommy went shopping early one morning and came home to a house of cowboys. (this is not an adventure that is limited to summertime, she points out in her groggy, I am almost asleep voice)

In August, we got to go to Cooperstown for a Rossway reunion. It ended up being a beautiful, happy day, and it was a blessing to get to see our sweet, funny Aunt Cindy one last time.

Me and my cousin here were definitely the coolest kids there. I miss her and her Iphone.
We also went camping twice, but Mommy forgets to take pictures - or can't because I am constantly climbing on her. Hee hee. Oops.

Being very artisitc, I've done a lot of painting (with nail polish) this summer.

Mommy just likes this picture and told me to put it on. We really do listen - I promise.

We've Been Busy . . .

Getting pretty sickly

Both keep our lives filled with adventure :)

Happy Memorial Day!

Myna did some decorating for the occasion . . .
She was very happy about it.

We met some really nice patriotic cows and drank some patriotic chocolate milk.

And, Milo was our brave little Bontorno. Myna was brave on the ground.

Thanks to all our brave relatives and countrymen who made this celebration possible.

Milo's Report

Well, it's taken a year, but I finally get to write a post - Myna wrote the day she was born, but Mom and Dad have learned to be a little more protective of the computer since then, so it's taken awhile to convince them that I can actually use something without utterly destroying it in the process.

I did however get a much better first birthday celebration than my sister. She only had an epic snowstorm on her birthday. I got to see my Great Grandma,
I had a rockin' dump truck cake (thanks to the Easter Bunny for the "dirt"),
I had a little impromptu party at the park
(with lots of friends to help me blow out the 1 candle),
Mom finally made my Michaelangelo flags for my nautical room,
and, best of all, I got some trucks,
another truck,

and another truck (not pictured).
I am a jolly 1 year old. I love to chase and be chased by my sister. I say doggie, light, truck, tractor, cat, ball, cracker, done, stuck, dada, mama (soon, I promised my Mommy). I am an explorer and cannot be restrained by traditional methods. I am unafraid of new things and this gives my sister confidence she never had before. We are having a lot of fun being chased by our Mommy and Daddy. I love ball and trucks and wrestling. I am tenderhearted though. I sure am lovable. Today, after naps, Myna announced, "Milo my friend."
I am getting bigger.
Just a few more inches . . .
and, I'm on my way!!! See you next year!

Milo got into it.

Myna got into it.

Mommy even joined in.

Yeah, she got into it.

A little break from the action.

Back to it.

And, a few nice and normal shots for posterity.
