So, for awhile I was desirous that we should have Myna's pictures taken professionally. But, we decided to invest in a nice camera instead and try taking some pictures ourselves . . .
Here is Exhibit A as to why you should hire a photographer to take your child's pictures:
"Eating the props is fun to do, fun to do, fun to do . . ." "Hey, who said you could take my picture?" "This is child extortion, and I will not stand for it!" "I refuse to acknowledge this occurrence" "Oh, go ahead, do what you will Mother" "Don't expect any smiles though" "Now that that's over, let's talk about my modeling fee" "What, you pay in Pampers?!?!! This shoot is over!
And then, a few extras :) Myna almost fits This is how I found her a few mornings ago Ahhhh . . . my heart :)
This week, a nice woman in our church passed away. I'll always remember her because on Sunday, she answered the question "what does prayer or communion with God mean to you?" She said so beautifully and without hesitation that prayer was a "blending of your heart with His." Sometimes, lessons are hard to remember, but in the 5 minutes that Myna allowed me to be in Relief Society on Sunday, that unforgettable testimony of prayer was given, and I will never forget it. Thanks Lois.
Now, on to Myna (she can't wait to type!)
Hey ya'll! It's Myna-moe, Bug, Bugsie, Myners, Drooly, "cute little boy," and a myriad of other cute names that I'm called on a regular basis. Now that I'm 3 months old, I'm sure you are interested in seeing the bright and beautiful things I've learned.
#1. To fly#2. To be unashamedly cute #3. To look innocent even though I've soaked through three layers of blankets below #4. To enjoy (even a boy's) company #5. To be taller than a hippo #6. To suck my fingers, to suck my fingers, to suck my fingers, oh yeah, did I mention to suck my fingers #7. To enjoy my cutest appendages above all else #8. To let people know when to back off with the camera #9 That babies can look GOOD in black #10. That when I move, it messes up Mommy's picture and is really funny :) #11. That Mom wants everyone to ohh and ahh over her new (very short) hair cut #12. Writing blogs is tiring - See ya'll later
