Our stay at home summer has turned into a lot of fun. Grandpa Al came by for a day, so after Mom and Dad made him help install some fencing and check out the roof (and we made him watch Handy Manny), we took him for some Corinth kayaking and Porter Corners' pizza.
For any of you Grandmas out there. Don't worry, for although we are on the Hudson River and us kids don't have a life jacket on, Mommy wouldn't let us go outside the floating dock area that was only 20 feet by 20 feet. I want a Hello Kitty life jacket for Christmas and Milo wants a Cars one.
We love Family Home Evening - we often ask if we can have it when Mom and Dad inquire as to what we'd like to do. I started liking to teach the lesson. Here you can see my supplies that I gathered. A mission journal - I asked Mommy to read some of it, the world - because it is so special and Jesus made it for us, two boxes of soap - because they are so special and Jesus made them for us, and a picture of Jesus.
We went to Saratoga Springs best parade of the year - Flag Day!
All five of us Bontornos made it.

I have gotten very brave and like to "explore" without Mommy and Daddy.
Milo's gotten very brave, and when some other visitors wanted to go through the gate we had closed and were guarding, Milo told them, "Okay, but you have to say the magic words."
Mommy says she's "ready" - whatever that means.
I explored up these stairs first with Mommy trailing behind. Here come our boys. When I ran down this hill, I was exploring without anyone knowing where I ran to. Some nice bikers saw me and later told my family that seeing me run down the stairs in my dress and blonde curls with the beautiful Yaddo mansion and flowers behind me was a perfect image. I do have a romantic take on life - seeing as I am four - so, I was glad to share it with some nice people.
The perfect sitting tree ended a wonderful outing.
