The (Myna) Bontorno House
Now that I've got Dad under my control, things are running pretty smoothly around here.
I'm happy to report that my mobile is finally up and lulling me to sleep each night and greeting me each morning with its perpetual motion thanks to Dad's ingenious idea to propel it with a magnet. Don't you wish your dad was an engineer too?
He's taught me well from the scriptures. I know that Lehi and his family moved into the wilderness where it was hard to be a hippo, bunny, frog or kitty.
I've learned that wicked King Laban (caterpillar) wouldn't let go of the record of Lehi's family and the teaching of the prophets (Mona Lisa notebook).
And, I learned that Ishmael and his daughters also came along.
Ths fish was Laban's sword, but Daddy let me play with it anyways.
Sometimes,I let Daddy sleep in a funny position to get all the energy he needs to play with me.
I'm all ready to go for a walk when he wakes up though - no slacking in the house.
Daddy even let me have pets now . . . my pet cockroaches are too fast to take pictures of though.
Yeah, life's great when Daddy does what I want. He helped me make a book for Mommy for Mother's Day and look how happy we all are :) Boy, do I know how a house should run.

A New Addition . . .
Affectionately known as S-Dubs, Dubs, or Sooby-doo, this little Outback joined our family since coming to Charleston. He's blue and oh so much quieter than our dear old Black. And, we know that Black is doing well and in a better place.
It seems like so many things in life teach us about being humble. Humility must be such a multi-facted principle. I am grateful for my Myna - my constant reminder of something greater than myself and sometimes reminder of how much I have to learn. Here are some pictures that capture some of the awesome sights I witness everyday.
Myna's very first strawberry!
Our friend Natalie
My tummy's delight!
Myna really got into picking :)

"Oooohhh, there's more of me"
Myna's reenacting the story of Lehi's family in their tent in the wilderness. Yes, Lehi is a big, pink hippo.
Bubbles
Searching for the local gator
If Myna pooped on my phone, it's only fair that she slobbers on daddy's clean laundry, right??
Caught in the act
"Yea, I can sit up. What's it to ya?"
A girl after my own heart :)
Casi, casi
"What? Isn't this how you left me mom?" (note to viewers: Mom had nothing to do with the disheveled nature of the blankets/animals/etc. - in fact, at least one of the blankets was below her feet the last time I saw it)
Painting :)

Chubby Bunny
Ahhhhhh . . . Daddy's home!!!
"Why yes, I do know I'm cute!"

I love the little hand grasping
Watching Dad (Myna loves her Daddy)

Sleeping with Rocky

Me and my Baby Blues :) :)
